Hello, how confident are you in your measurements of the Burberry sportcoat? It seems very small for a 44R. I normally wear a size 40, and have a similar Burberry made in Portugal sportcoat...
Canalis also usually run large, so I would be very surprised to see a 44R Canali with those measurements.

BTW I checked, and my Burberry sportcoat is a size 52 (I presume = 42 US)...

The Burberry fits relatively slim, closer to a 42.
The Canali lines usually are truer to size, depending on which model/series you are looking at. This sportcoat just runs a tad slimmer than the norm. The shoulders and chest on this are more for a 44/54, while the body is tapered a bit more. I wouldn't, however, consider it for a 42, unless you have wider/thicker shoulders.
