I'm not a fan of nylon bags and the last bag I have to switch over to canvas or leather is the bag that carries my pocket items, a sling bag aka fanny pack worn over shoulder.

Currently using a Arcteryx Mantis 2. As a replacement I'm considering the small field bag. It's just a little larger in size and I could use a little extra space.

To those who own the bag for carrying pocket items and the like on a daily basis how do you like it?

Do you find undoing the buckle every time inconvenient or aggravating or is it quick and easy to open with one hand?

It's difficult to find photos of anyone wearing the bag in real life. If anyone could post a photo of someone wearing the bag it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm hoping it doesn't look too purse like due the smaller size. The medium field bag solves that but way too big to carry just pocket items.

Wish Filson had more canvas options in the smaller size. Or, is the small field bag just that good?
