filson mackinaw cruiser: double vs regular and sizing

any one who owns one of these can you help me on sizing?

and also is it worth to get the double version for the added ~$50?

You get your normal jacket size. There will be enough room to layer heavily along with allowing you to keep a full range of unrestricted motion. The double Mac is a very heavy coat with an additional layer of wool over your shoulders and sleeves. If you are prone to cold or live where sub zero temps are common it's the one to get. Just remember the coat alone won't keep you warm. The head, hands and feet need to be covered too.
