    Has anyone tried Corter belt?

    http://www.corterleather.bigcartel.c...t/regular-belt

It looks alright and it's cheaper than tanner. I'm interested to hear from anyone who has bought from them before.

i bought one of these a few years ago... it is still going very strong. recommended.

    Tanner's website.

I don't own a Filson belt, ahve 3 Tanners and like them. However one all black belt, with a black buckle, the black paint is chipping off in areas.

How do the tanner colors age?

my friend swears by his tanner belt. In about a year of daily use it has worn in and taken the patina of a shade lighter than the "tan" patina on the tanner website.

Doesn't answer the OP's question, but I would also consider a bridle leather belt from leathergoodsconnection.com
Looks very similar + great quality + cheaper than Tanner and Filson + you can order it in customized lengths (rather than 2" increments).

I just made my own belt. Tandy has leather where you just put your own blank in, punch holes, and then cut to length for around $12.

    Belt leather blanks

Their buckles are lol huge though. Just through some treatment on and sit in the sun and you got a belt.
