I forgot to post this. I bought this early 2021 as nordstrom rack. I checked it and nothing is wrong with it.
Surprise nobody wanted it. I am sure you can figure out why I bought it.

Wow. I got mine at a discount but it was only like 30%. I felt proud. Who are you guys who snag the desirable bags at insane discounts? Is the secret to go to brick and mortar stores?

You just got to be on the look out in store or online. It is no secret, sometimes it is just luck.
For example.

But that's not like getting a 24h for $68.
Edit: Also, if you have the Prime Visa, with 5% off it drops to $341.87 before tax.

Maybe I missed it in the thread, but why are 48hrs significantly more expensive on eBay than brand new from Filson? I don’t see anything about the eBay items that makes them more desirable.

One word: GREED!

Also it’s price is currently still trending up because eBay sellers not in the know don’t have a visual reference point for what’s a fair price, or as mentioned above they are just being greedy. The price will go down in time just as it has for bags like the Sportsman and Large Twill Carry On. Heck even ultra rare Filson’s like The Vans Rucksack has trended downward in price on eBay.

Hmm. I just assumed PayPal Protection didn't cover this sort of thing. Not sure why I assumed that.

Edit: Also, $185 for a 256 is pretty high, no?
Edit2: Or is it the YKK-ness that makes it interesting...?

It does have the handle wrap attached... thought for a moment it was a 257! Price does seem a lot given no leather strap and poor leather condition along the zipper.

The leather straps can be bought from filson

Some do, that is why many for the filson restoration items are more expensive than new ones.
Also, many love the patina look.

For me, I buy them if i like it and use it.
