Since I've retired, I no longer use my 257. I'm thinking of selling it, about 10 yrs old, in good shape, Do you guys think $125 would be out of reason?
Seems pretty reasonable to me. Would depend on any areas that need to be repaired and condition of straps.

It's basically in new shape. Used it for about 2 months and then went to a 24hr bag as daily carry. It has been sitting in a closet for the last 3 yrs.

About 10 years old would be skating the line between a #70257 and a #257, which one is it?

$125 seems incredibly competitive, I’d say depending on the condition an additional C-Note wouldn’t be unreasonable, and still be a doozy of a deal

Bit much for a tiny bag huh?

I don’t think so, in fact i think it’s undervalued based on the rarity and material (Harris Tweed). Pretty sure it just sold so someone got lucky. I’m in the market for a range bag myself. I thought about using my #264 for that purpose but now I’m not so sure. I think I want something not so susceptible to smells; gunpowder is quite pungent and I’d rather not set off any alarms when traveling by airport. As of now my #264 makes a great support bag for the GR2 GoRuck.

Absolutely gorgeous day in Evanston yesterday. Colors are starting to change but still not too cold. We made it look colder than it actually was.

No bags in these photos but plenty of Filson. On me a vintage flannel, unlined gloves and ebetts hat. Honorable mention to my left hand twill denim that are about two years old now. Have turn out wonderful despite the many washes. Also two solid years on my red wing Chelsea rancher boots. Excellent comfort and style. The in-laws probably wouldn’t care about their faces in the photos but went ahead and marked them out anyways.

Great pictures but isn’t putting your MIL on a leash a little extreme? ;)

Maybe it isn’t. After all, I don’t know her. Wait a minute...isn’t she the one that bought you some Filson gear? She’s alright. Heck, she’s more than alright.

Since I did a double take, I felt others might have too and they might appreciate my stupid comments. I won’t do it again soon. I promise.

OK guys, I must have had my head up somewhere yesterday. The bag in my closet is a 256, specifically a 70256. Sorry for any confusion that I have caused. I did also find in the upstairs closet another bag I'd sell. It's in great shape as well. Model on it is 240, has YKK zippers. If anyone is interested PM me, they will go pretty cheap as I am not using them anymore, so they should go to a good home.

Yes MIL on the leash and Chauncey gets to hold it ;)
In all seriousness she has supplied most of my Filson shirt collection. She raided the sale when the made in USA T-shirts were $10 so I’m set for life. Haha

She also hooked it up with this sweet whiskey glass which I think is amazing.
