About when did Filson discontinue the Two Wheel Rolling Carry On and Check In Roller. These 4 Wheel Spinners seem to be Antihero of Filson

I believe they started getting rid of them last fall when the 4 wheel was introduced. They are currently ousting the leather 2 wheel roller right now in the sale (which is very lackluster). I am sure they will be introducing a new 4 wheel leather if it sold well in the 2 version form.About when did Filson discontinue the Two Wheel Rolling Carry On and Check In Roller. I'm wondering if the sale will get stronger after today when the rebate deal ends. I need to get a navy 24 hour since they're being discontinuedI believe they started getting rid of them last fall when the 4 wheel was introduced. Nah, it’s for my son. I had already picked up a tan for him - but after he had told my wife if he got to pick he would want navy. It’s going to be a gift so he doesn't have the tan yet..it’s put away for now. If I get this navy I may either sell the tan or keep it for myself. Personally I’d also rather have the OG but tan could be a good mix to throw in with a leather strapCatching the Navy bug going around lately are you?
They do off it in Otter Green still, I should know as it was my first Filson bag. I think you’re going to love it’s layout design. I still think it’s one of the best Filson has to offer currently
I’ve been thinking about an outfitter for a while now for my hunting trips. Decided to pick up the XL duffel this past fall and not sure if I’d use the outfitter. I was also looking at the one Wren&Ivy (small US based company- geared towards the hunting lifestyle) makes in addition to the Filson.
Does anyone have experience with the Filson Weatherproof Leather Journeyman? I have the regular Journeyman in Olive & might want to splurge to upgrade. Thanks in advance!

I like mine. It was a great bargain at the price I paid even if it doesn’t last me a lifetime. It has some obvious design flaws. The biggest issue for me is that it doesn’t not standing up well when fully packed (falls forward). Next biggest issue is the weight. By itself it’s like 8+lbs which in Europe is half your carry capacity and the US isn’t far behind. Anyways, it looks amazing and is very tough. The wheels will be the first thing to go but it looks to me like they used roller blade wheels which finding a replacement looks reasonably easy. Anyways, for a good price, it’s a nice carry on but I likely wouldn’t be able to justify sticker price especially considering they no longer make them in the USA. Mine is an early YKK build tag and I’m happy with it.Which is why I will most likely never have one. Plus, from the 2 wheeled versions I e seen, not impressed with the durability of the plastic.
This whole quarantine thing has me drinking more than usual, which is not very often to begin with. Trying this one tonight. Hopefully everyone out there is staying safe. Can’t wait for things to head towards normalcy.... View attachment 1368680
