+1, also grabbed the zippered tote for the missus.
Feeling a bit OCDish today, must have something to do with scanning all my 35mm negatives, so I looked around and found that I have a number of the Filson catalogues in PDF format - listed below. Just wondering if anyone has any others that they could send to me ? If so, please PM me.
201209 - Outdoors Sept 2012.pdf
201211 - Filson.pdf
According to my records, June 26th, 2011.
Edit: Oh, that was for my 256. The 252 is from December 11th, 2012. Barely used.
It does takes a time to get some wabi on them, but they do age gracefully.
That's my birthday. Too bad I can't claim "barely used". LOL!
Filson's upcoming duffle backpack.
Judging by the DPM more likely Barbour
Filson has at least a couple of bags coming out in that pattern. It's waterproof cordura nylon. The 72-Hour Bag is pretty neat looking.
Another zipper supplier for Filson ?
Toronto PSA - just saw a few Filson bags at the Marshalls on John St downtown. Don't seem like mainline Filson's, but they have the usual buttons and clasps.
They had 1 Passage Large Expedition Duffle in Brown for $130, like this one:
And 2 Passage Carry-on bag in black for $100, like this one:
Up until about 12 months ago, Filson featured those models in their Web Specials area.
Any good Filson stockists in EU? The official Filson London - store sells the 257 for £250, but I don't want to pay that much, since I am a student...
Does anyone have a Filson in black which has been through a bit of the weather? Tan ages pretty well and I am wondering how a black version would look. I am thinking of buying a Filson medium field bag in black.
Grateful for comments.
Need a bag to take to work, no computer, mostly just a lunch, possibly stuff some gym clothes in.
Filson 232 work?
Mostly just lunch - yep.
Gym clothes - This really depends on how many gym clothes you intend to carry. Could be tight if you have trainers and lots of thick clothes (sweat shirt & pants).
