Accidentally clicked through to the UK Filson site, and found that they have different images on the front page including this one of the new Oil Finish Rucksack. It's looking.... BIG. I was hoping cinching the top down more might dial back the volume a bit when it's not full, but it's still very deep (7" depth). ?

Given its volume it could really use some straps to cinch in the sides...

Waxed the 257 last night and sun dried it most of today to air it out. It turned out better than I expected, but also took longer than I anticipated. Used two small Filson oil finish wax cans, heat gun, and took at least 3 hours last night.

Took a pic of with my otter green bags. I also have a new 48H duffle on the way!

How do you like the rolling suitcase?

I like it a lot! It's actually the two-wheel carry-on, not the check-in suitcase. Got a great deal on it at the Seattle outlet about 3 years ago when they were clearancing them out in favor of the newer 4 wheel carry-on.

Used it on a handful of flights and I've gotten a couple of compliments at the airport. :)

edit: Just noticed that I forgot to tuck the leather straps back in on the carry-on. I took my bags out and was conditioning the leather. lol

I don’t speak for everyone but it’s usually not a big deal unless you’re constantly spamming

but since this is the “Filson bag thread With Pictures” we do all appreciate any pictures of interesting bags you may have ?

we love seeing pictures of bags ?

Not sure if promoting is okay, so please let me know if its not and I will delete it

I have my own one man shop based in Europe selling used Filson items. Most likely more interesting for Europeans than Americans due to the currency.
I’d like to vouch for buying from FilsonHunter. I bought my Nanamica x Filson red 257 briefcase from them, and it was an excellent experience.

Since we're flexing......Here's a couple moments in time....but this wasn't really half of it at the height....had 2 of these almost filled. Now it is 1 rack that is about 1/2 filson and a shelf of whiskey/bourbon I started collecting.
