As far as the other house label ties, you can see some writeups here
and in the many opther threads posted in this post from this thread

Of course I remain available for any questions you may have as well as assistance in picturing the ties with shirts and suits so you can see what the tie may look life in action.

To that end you can check out the new blog.

Any discount codes?

They are sweet, I actually like them better than my Kiton ties.

OK. I am gonna do a 10% off on all ties for all SF members.

This doesnt apply to any ties that are on sale already.

I havent yet worked it into the site but mention that you're a SF member and your member name in the comments box and I will honor it at checkout.

Just stopped by their store; ties are $170-180.

Is that right? I have seen them go on eBay for a lot more. I've seen a lot of things go on eBay for a lot more. I saw a pair of Trafalgar braces that the bidder could have bought online at a store for $170 go for $300!

I beleive that the higher premium Hermes ties are for limited editions that they no longer produce. For example, the Hermes on Wall Street produced a tie just for that store when they opened up.

It's too bad they're so pricey, some of the colors would be nice for summer. I never liked the way they soil easily even from ordinary handling.

Drakes sometimes uses this silk as well, though they also use the Marinella/Capelli kind. The quality is very good. The price is a steal at $50 or $60 for full retail.

Soporific!

I stopped by today at FIH while my wife shopped for the kids (downstairs) and wanted to spend a few minutes looking at the ties (2nd floor). I think I spent an hour and a half. He has a ridiculous amount of great ties to choose from. My daughter had to drag me away.

How many did you buy?

BTW, agree with Manton, the made in Italy prints are great - got a couple and love them.

FIH seems to no longer have a banner or be an SF sponsor. Is this correct?
