So, as selectism noticed, Field & Stream is back with a bit more design oriented collection. The good thing is it still looks simple and functional, and comes with a rather low price tag.
This shirt looks interesting for example.

Anyone tried the new stuff? Opinions?
I have several flannel shirts from the "old" F&S which are good quality-wise, so Im intrigued.

I feel like we're at the point in the trend where every single brand remotely related to "workwear" and "Americana" will have a little tab on their site explaining the history, yadda yadda. This stuff is pretty neat in how esoteric the details are, but I can't say that I'm super excited. Good price points at least.

His brand is going to suck. Dicks sporting goods bought the brand and all their outdoors gear is crap. If there is any similarities it's gunna suck

In a couple years you won't be able to sell all this stuff that looks like it was worn by a mine worker in the 1920's for $10 on ebay. Go ahead and buy a classic flannel shirt, but then again last year Costco was selling F & S and they were ++ vanity sized and the quality of the flannel was crap.

Oh without a doubt.

Of course that's true with everything though.

Really, part of this whole workwear/whatever trend should be that the stuff is readily available and cheap.
