I am considering a new daily driver. Want something I can drive to work that gets decent gas mileage that isn't completely boring.

Thinking of a Fiat Abarth. $25,000, about 30 mpg.

Anyone have one?

Are Fiat's more reliable now than they were back in the day? (I used to own a Fiat Spyder, and it was not particularly reliable.)

Any advice?

Any alternatives?

Nice, I got gray and had them remove the stripes. I'm loving it.

I've been seeing a surprising amount of these on the road since the brand returned to the USA. I'm a fan, but doubt I could fit in one comfortably.

I got a couple inches on you and find leg room under the steering wheel the biggest problem with a lot of cars. It's not just smaller vehicles. Been in some small SUV's that have the same problem due to a badly designed seating arrangement.

Still, they do look like fun little cars.

I have a 500 that'll get traded in soon. Love it but need bigger. PM. Me if you have questions.
If you don't care for the snorty sound, look into the 500 turbo.

And I'm 6'2". I had the dealer install an aftermarket (better) sunroof which gained back more than an inch of headroom.
The seating is chair/upright which buys a lot of leg room. Beware if you have a tall passenger. The head unit for the stereo is bolted under the passenger seat so it does not go back as far, at least in the regular 500.

The turbo is market as Abarth in Europe and the Abarth is the SS and from what I've heard consensus is that one should buy a turbo/Abarth and do the SS/HP upgrade yourself, as you get more bang for your buck.

@Kai did you get it with the brown suede/leather buckets?
