I looked forward to working with mules, an animal actually smarter and more durable than it's mother. And for a few weeks I got along spendidly with the already well trained and mannered mounts. Then one day this John Mule took it in his head to make my life miserable. I struggled, did all the things right a good horseman does. Finally one of the other packers walked over, belly kicked the mule, took a latigo and wanged on the mule's Cordovan region and lastly BIT IT'S EAR. He finally handed the lead rope back to me with a fully compliant animal. " Kav, sometimes you got to get the SOBs attention!" Look at how animals establish pecking orders. it's no less tough.

Can you do the same to Conne?

You're giving the dog away because it forced you to get 3 shirts dry cleaned? I hope you don't plan on having children. Shirts are just shirts.. I don't care how much they cost or how well made they are. I'd trade every shirt I own for the companionship provided by my dog.
