Hi guys, this is my first post.

Anyways, just bought a pair of Ferragamos and was curious about some creases when I put them on. I asked the sales lady, but she obviously told me it was normal..

This is when I have them on w/o having walked on them or anything. Is this normal, or is it a bad fit? The fit feels good otherwise, leather is really thin. I want these shoes to last for a long time. Should I return? Thanks!

This last might not be for you, I'm thinking your high instep is causing that sinking crease. This will affect the longevity of the leather in the upper. But if they feel good to your feet, I leave it to you.

On a Ferragamo related note, if you got these at a Ferragamo boutique hopefully they gave you the a pre-sale price. Since the spring/summer sale starts this week...

+1 on the high instep. Should relax though once the shoes break in

If funny because this type of design ( The fold line across the top cap) was invented to absorb the crease when the shoe bends while walking.
Its the oldest design in the book, but over the years the fold has crept more and more forward to look better on the eye. Now the fold harldy helps at all.
