So I go to work today and find a little envelope on my desk with my name on it. I open it and find these:

(the metal (gold?) rectangles are around 1" tall, and fit in the red plastic sleeves) I ask around and apparently, the board of directors wants us managers to carry these things around in our wallets at all times for good luck. Now, I don't carry a wallet but a money clip, so have nowhere to carry these things. WTF are they? Over the past couple of months, they've also set up bagua over the doors and various other feng shui items around the office.

You know, there just happens to be a small hole at the top of each one.

With the right chain, you'd have a smashing neckcessory.

That is actually a pretty awesome move by the board... I look forward to the day of running my own shop when I can imposed little eccentricities on the employees..

I was born in 1975, which makes my sign the rabbit.
