I think much of finding happiness has to do with realizing three things:

1) Your life is meaningless
2) You will probably die alone and
3) Lying in your own ****

Once you accept that, happiness pretty much flows all the time.

Has the OP considered Chartered Accountancy? It is relevant to an economics background, or even a social science degree. I say Chartered rather than CPA as I assumer OP is Canadian from the tone of his whine.
