The idea of this Friday Challenge was to emulate (or to be inspired by) a look from a selection of drawings (by Akira Sorimachi) in the "American Trad Handbook".

This competition seems to have gone on forever.

Inkss not only gets the clothing spot on, but the photo itself is amazing. It looks closer to vintage than the Steve McQueen Harrington shot ! Probably the best entry I have seen in any of these various competitions over time.

Not really as you clearly can see it is a digital photo and not photographic film.
Still a great look though !

First, thanks for the votes guys !

Well for a while now it seems the voting period is longer, 3 weeks is now the norm. In the case of this last Challenge, as if you wanted to "reenact" a drawing it needed a little preparation, i thought it was the appropriate length of time indeed.

I will post a new Friday Challenge soon, this time in the CM board, but posters from SW&D will be of course welcome if they follow the rules.
I will try to find a topic that will appeal to the largest audience.
