"You & Me" by Penny and the Quarters. Heard this when I went to see Blue Valentine last week. Apparently it was recorded as a demo at an Ohio studio between 1970 and 1975. When the studio owner died a few years ago, some archivists were going through the tapes and found this. No one knows who Penny and the Quarters are or who wrote this. But man, it's some sweet, stripped-down vocal harmony.

I have never thought of FNM as a one hit wonder band, but I suppose they actually are.
