I have lived in L.A. for 10 years and I am in a clothing rut. Where do you shop for casual and going-out clothes (i.e. upscale jeans and interesting shirts)? I am sure there is a whole world in Silverlake I know nothing about. HELP. Thanks.

Upscale jeans and interesting shirts huh? Can you be more specific? Any brands in particular?

Being an LA native, you probably know about these, but I figure I'll throw them out there until you're more specific: Maxfield, Maxfield Bleu, Fred Segal, American Rag, Traffic, Lisa Kline, Lisa Kline Outlet, Kitson, Loehmanns, and Barneys.
