    My rotation includes:

    -6 or 7 year old LVC '47

-Another strange LVC one-off from Ron Herman. 501s, about 5 years old, really good light weight, non-selvege denim that has faded really great with lots of "vertical falling," as they say, leather patch, yellow stitching (instead of the normal white) along the outseam where the selvege would normally be. I could never find another pair of these, but I saw a guy wearing them once in L.A. He also was bummed the he couldn't find another pair. They cost $98, if I remember right.

Requesting pictures of both of these!

Here's the '47. Note, I wash my jeans pretty frequently, so I don't have the crazy contrast that some of you get.

Here are the oddball LVC's. Sorry about the crappy lighting. I can try again in daylight if it matters. Both this pair and the 47's are STF, bought raw.

I remember those, but can't remember the name of them. There was a Levis Premium reissue of them a couple of years ago.

Someone here will remember the original name for those...

Those reissues were not exactly like the originals. Mine have a two snap enclosure on the front and very wide belt loops. They also aren't as slim cut as the reissues. They are fairly close though.

I love my Uniqlo Shuttle Denim. The fit is just perfect, low enough on the hips, but not too low. I wish that I went longer with them, but the next pair that I get will be longer, that's for sure.

Digging the jean shops I bought a couple weeks ago. A close second is the RRDS I have in the mix. 4 days of the Jean Shops and 3 days of the RRDS. My sugarcanes catch a little action if i go hiking.

    Why?

It helps break the ice. The younger Japanese crowd loves Tsubi with its creative markings. Sadly, I paid for the Tsubi. I got the Sugar Cane dungarees as a gift from one of my regular associates, so it sort of evens out [IMG]

OK - I know absolutely nothing about jeans. I have a a pair of Rekko, couple of pairs of Evisu (which I got 6 years ago because I found them sorta cool and still wear), an old pair of Lee riders, a couple pairs of Levi's... but strangely enough, my absolute favorite jeans are a pair of Volcom (yea, the surf/skate brand or whatever). They were given to me by a friend who works in streetwear in LA and had a few samples.

Am I the only one here who has Volcom jeans? (I searched SF for the word and found zero results...)

Does that make me crazy? [IMG]
    Possibly...

I didn't even know Volvom made jeans. I've seen some jackets that were reasonably cool, though.

Almost all I ever wear are Levis Premium Skinners... Boring, I know but its the only jean I look good in. If I had the wallet, I would probably get some Selvage Regular Ralfs or some Japanese 517 repro

My most worn are APC Rescues, 501 STF, and SSDS. I'm loving my Rescues, my first selvage jeans. I washed them too early and I won't get the dramatic fading, but man, the denim is really nice looking, wearing in great.
