You know, I actually picked that up on DVD at a yard sale recently, but I have yet to watch the film. I think I need to do so.

So, you're either a Tony Leung fan, a Wong Kar-wai fan, or both, right? I suppose I cannot blame you for being either. Chungking Express is probably my favorite movie.

My favorite movie scenes are:
- The final scene of Hana-bi
- Chapters 1-5 of Trapped in the Closet

haha, wrong on both counts...sorta, WKW is kinda overrated IMO, but those two movies are great. Tony Leung is also very overrated, i don't like much of what he does but i liked him in that scene...the Happy Together scene i liked more for Leslie's cocky-cool nonchalance, or at least the appearance of it pretending he didn't see the man he still loves.

speaking of Fargo...

- The scene where Marge is reuniting with that awkward Asian dude. Totally creepy, offbeat, quirky and brilliant. If I can sum up the Coens in one scene that'd be it.

- No Country For Old Men gas station scene
- There Will Be Blood final sequence with DDL going insane in his mansion, especially the last two words of the movie and then the oddly happy music coming right in
- The opening shot of Casino, with the car blowing up as a segue into the opening credits
- Scene in Departed where Jack Nicholson is throwin blow on the hookers and says "don't move until you're numb"
- The scene in Scarface where Pacino delivers the "say good night to the bad guy" monologue
- The scene in Jackie Brown where Pam Grier is walkin out prison as the bail bondsman looks at her for the first time and "Natural High" is playing

the first Gleason/Newman scene in 'The Hustler'.

The Albert Finney/Danny Boy shootout scene in 'Millers Crossing'.

The final scene in Godfather I, where Michael is becoming the godfather for his sister's child and all his enemies are being killed.

Do you renounce Satan and all his works? I do. BANG BANG.

Incredible juxtaposition.

You should watch the entire thing but, for me, the scene that begins at about 17:00 and ends at 18:30 contains the most moving moment in cinema.
