Can't believe there is no thread about this.

Curious what the forvmites prefer.

Rums:
Zacapa 23 for sipping, have a cask strength I picked up that's really nice.
Gosling's for mixing. And forget the haters, I've bee using a lot of Bacardi for white rum lately.

Gin:
Hendrick's is my go to for mixing, Bombay Sapphire second.
Leopold's is very nice on the rocks.

Tequila:
4 Copas, Gran Centeario

Whiskey:
Seagram's 7 for everyday cocktails, W.L. Weller bourbon for sipping

Other liqueurs:
Luxardo
Cointreau
My homemade limoncello.

Rum: pyrat. I've had several that I really enjoyed at parties, but never remembered the brands. I really enjoy a good aged rum.

Whisk(e)y: lots...generally bourbons, but also Jameson. Scotch is ok at times, but really mood dependent.

Vodka: not really a fan

Tequila: no, gracias

Others: I'm a big fan of herbal liqueurs, absinthe, ouzo, etc. Also fruit liqueurs like limoncello.

I like Plymouth Gin. I haven't tried Old Raj, but I understand it's quite nice.

Also, Green Chartreuse is practical. Indeed, I can be quite satisfied with a bar consisting of high-end gins, green chartreuse, Luxardo Maraschino and Creme de Violette plus some limes.

Glad to hear all the love for Hendricks. My personal trifecta of drinks:

Gin: Hendricks
Scotch: Laphroaig
Bourbon: Evan Williams

But that's me, and I tend to like the drinks that declare what they are. I don't do much mixing.

I'm not a huge rum fan, but occasionally I'll enjoy the carmel notes of a Rinaldo.

Sounds like the kind of place that would be crawling with homosexuals.

I'll post only bottles that cost under $50:

Rye (American) - Sazerac 6 (best bang for the buck, no contest)
Bourbon - Black Maple Hill (some of the more experienced bourbon drinkers don't prefer this, but I do)
Gin - Martin Miller navy strength (my relatively new staple)
Rum - Ron Zacapa (the wife is Guatemalan, what can I say)
Cognac - Remy Martin 1738 (another great taste for the price)
