I actually like the pic with the fitted jacket and the wide trousers. I don't have any suits that fit like that but I can imagine wearing that.

Clemens & August is kind of hip now. It is not without its stylistic merits I guess.

Regent is under the radar on this forum, too bad.

Are there any niche german clothing brands that have an upper class status in germany? I'm afraid I don't know much about German clothing.

I liked the brand Krones and Kin, which is apparently now defunct. The style was not unlike Dirk Schonberger's (a lot of deconstructed military pieces) with use of tonal prints as well. There was very little information about the brand, but it may have been German (or Belgian, it was one of the two.)

Interesting thread. I wonder what other euro-brands are relatively unknown on here?

Regent, Falke, Ign Joseph, Van Laack and Emanuel Berg are probably the only RTW/MTM brands in this thread that deserve SF seal of approval. EDIT: Schiesser is worthwhile too.

Actually, my favourite undershirts used to be Calida (Swiss?), until I found Schiesser.

Just for the record: Marc O'Polo has its roots in Sweden.

We might want to add Seidensticker for some better-quality shirts.
