There's apparently a new color "Redwood Antique"... and about 20 years ago Green did an Antique Black for Arnys which was really cool.

black seems such a waste for EG's antiquing skillz. I would say Dark Oak is the perfect introductory color, after that I would get something lighter like Acorn.

I find I have more Burnt Pine than any other but also like chestnut and edwardian. Burgundy shoes that aren't shell cordovan just make me sad.

I have a pair of Dovers in olive. This question is so tough to answer. It is like asking "What is your favorite shirt color?" Sometimes, only a white shirt will do. Other times, a light blue houndstooth is nice. If I had to choose just one, it would be dark oak. But there are few shoes that I would choose over my Edwardian antique Windsors to accompany my tan moleskins and a gold/blond Harris Tweed herring bone sportcoat on the coldest day in November.
