Favorite cordovan color?

Zippyh - very nice collection! Can you list the color names from left to right? I particularly like the one in the middle.

of the normal Alden colors:

Ravello > Cigar > #8 > Whiskey > Black, though the versatility of #8 might underrate it in a ranking like that

of other colors you see by other makers, the Dark Cognac used by C&J is probably best of all. the burgundy that C&J uses is also nicer, imo, than the #8 used by Alden. a good bit lighter.

#6 looks nice and Ron Rider uses it enough that I would consider is a "normal" color. I've never seen it in person though.

of even more rare colors, Walnut looked super nice, and #4 was unique but really, really red. I actually saw it and didn't love it. I have never seen the Navy or Green or Gunmetal.

Whiskey, Ravello, #8 would be my preferences in that order, though the only shells I own are AE MacNeils in black and they too are very nice.
