Okay, there is going to be monumentally hard... seeing as I doubt many people have listened to their entire catalog (I know I haven't). So pick up to your 3 favorites, yeah you could pick all of them, but don't be that guy (looking at you edinatlanta)... I've listed only the 60's albums and the 3 most significant post-era Stones albums for the sake for brevity.... AND GO!

The Rolling Stones/Newest Hit Makers (1964)
Rolling Stones #2/12x5 (1964)
Now! (1965)
Out of Our Heads (1965)
December's Children (1965)
Aftermath (1966)
Between the Buttons (1967)
Beggar's Banquet (1968)
Let it Bleed (1969)
Sticky Fingers (1971)
Exile on Main St. (1972)
Some Girls (1978)
Other (There's like 10 others lol)

Exile on Main, Sticky Fingers and Beggars Banquet. And live, they were never the same after the 1981-82 tour, which featured some nice stuff from the then current album Tattoo You. I quit Jack Daniels 1983.

Sympathy for the Devil and Street Fighting Man are too ******* strong. Gimme Shelter is my favorite song though.

I voted for Sticky Fingers because I love the slightly more bluesy/country sound on it and Moonlight Mile and Can't You Hear Me Knocking are my two favorite songs from the Stones but Beggar's Banquet, Let It Bleed, and Exile on Main Street are all awesome as well. And I'd still gladly listen to 99% of the songs on the remaining albums on that list as well.

really difficult. ended up choosing Exile over Sticky Fingers... strong singular tracks on the latter, but the former just flows like butter.. have listened to it so many times.

On a side note, which one's the best live album in your opinion? I had Shine a Light, Flashpoint, Get Yer Ya Yas, Love You Live.. what else is recommended?

The Mick Taylor years yielded the best material. Exile's the best, but Sticky Fingers is also a masterpiece. BTW, if you haven't seen the documentary "Gimme Shelter", it's a must watch - riveting. Those were the days when the Stones were kind of dark and sinister, unlike the time I saw them in '94 and was handed a "Rolling Stones MasterCard" application upon entering the venue.

Nice pull, Rube! This was my exact answer as well. On SG you can throw away Miss You, the rest of the album is bliss. Far Away Eyes, Before They Make Me Run, and Beast of Burden are three of my all time fave Stones's songs.
