1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Among the many mentioned in this thread, I have always enjoyed Ballykissangel.

Just finished watching Spooks season 6. This show absolutely puts every crime/spy type drama we've got to shame. Its crazy good.

Just starting on Ashes to Ashes which is the follow up to Life on Mars. Phillip Glennister is a bad mofo.

I hope you only mean the 4th incarnation of Dr. Who, payed by Tom Baker.

Our Friends in the North is still the dramatic jewel in the BBC's crown, blending the personal and the political like nothing since.

Spaced. It was on channel four but it doesn't matter. Otherwise, blackadder and life on mars.

Wire in the Blood was a pretty good crime drama. It was ITV not BBC though.

Just been given the box set of Series 1 of "Green Wing". Not sure its BBC (might have been Channel 4) but brilliant British comedy IMO.

    Others:

    Only Fools & Horses
    Blackadder
    Top Gear
    TMS (radio obviously)
