Well?

Mine are Honeycrisp and Fuji. I once had this delicious apple, but I cannot remember the name. It was given to me by this old hippie from Oregon...he said it was fairly new. It was sort of tart, reminded me of a Granny Smith. I think it was yellow-ish? ****. Wish I remembered.

Fuji and Macintosh from Ohio. I miss good apples. Everything in markets here sucks. Southerners baking apple pies like crazy and their apples are all bad!

I had some Braeburn apples over the weekend that were pretty good.

CONFESSION: I just eat whatever apple is cheapest at the store and it always tastes pretty similar (my taste buds are not very discerning). That said I think I like Golden Delicious best.

Honeycrips and Painted Lady are two recent favorites.

I was on a Gala kick for a while and got burnt out on those. They make pretty darned good fried apples though.

I always make a tour through the apple section to see if there are any new varieties at the store. If I see a new on I buy a couple to try them out. Good and Good for You while being pretty inexpensive for an indulgence.

They are not apples, but if you have a chance to get some pluots give them a try. They are a cross between apricots and plums. They benefit from ripening but can pass their prime fairly quickly.

Macintosh. When I sink my teeth into a delicious ripe Mac it makes the most pleasing cracking sound that has ever entered my ears.
