2. sabotage - beastie boys
3. bullets with butterfly wings - smashing pumpkin
4. mr. brightside - the killers

Sirs,

I recall an occasion some years ago when I stumbled upon a son, in the study, viewing a musical video production.

The name he told me at the time now escapes me but it involved four popsies attired variously in black, wearing slashes of red lipstick while 'playing' their instruments. It was tremendously entertaining for several minutes. The male singer was quite engaging too, I recall.

Oh dear, age.

yours,

Smith

Sounds like Robert Palmer-Addicted to Love, although Tone Loc did his homage a few years later.

I saw two videos recently directed by Michel Gondry that I liked very much. One was for the Chemical Brothers and featured the world's cutest gamine. The other was for Bjork. Bjork always delivers good videos.

Chris Cunningham makes genius videos. Among them is Bjork's All Is Full Of Love (the one with the two white Bjork robots). Amazing amazing amazing.

He's also done some good ones for Aphex Twin.

Ever see 'Rubber Johnny', which was a short film he created with the soundtrack done by Aphex Twin? It's pretty neat:

The Hives are law! The Negatives are crime! Capice? Main Offender is one ass-kicking video.
