Hey all, I just want to start out saying that I have been creating some pretty rough designs for mens t-shirts lately and this is the first time I am actually showing them. I am looking to get some feed back from people who actually care about what they are wearing. Any advice or comments are appreciated. Let me remind you that these are the first rough drafts. The age group I am looking for is young male adults from 16-30. As you will see I am still unsure on the name but as of right now it is between Fresh and Creative. 1.

You'll want to post this in street wear & denim. Won't get much (any) love here. A sizable portion of this board thinks that people who wear t-shirts should be burned at the stake.

The astronaut one would be better if it was the same image but just a close up of the astronaut's helmet. At a distance the message is easy to miss.

You'll want to post this over in the men's clothing section.

I couldn't get past the first one.
It looks like an alternate cover for the first artificial intelligence compilation on warp records, circa 1992.

All your iconography looks like the same stuff everyone else uses. Astronauts! Gas Masks!

If you're going to do this, at least put together something unique.

And please don't beg off with the whole "I'm just an amateur, I don't even care", by making your creative output public you're opening yourself up to criticism.

I'll cut to the chase - know your target audience. Styleforum members in general don't like graphic tees. Button downs and blank t's are preferred. You'll get a better opinion on your stuff from sites like hypebeast, niketalk, or maybe even threadless. 99% of the people here will dislike your stuff.

I'm, honestly, not trying to be mean or anything but I think you should wait until you have a little more experience with graphic design to begin on a t-shirt/clothing company.

You show massive potential and just need to refine your work some more and get some basic art history/knowledge down... give it 2-3 years and it will be 100 times better than now.

If you're not in school for this, you may think about taking classes for it because they teach you basic design principles that everyone should follow. Whether you're in there for fashion design, web design, industrial design, etc.
