1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

As far as small appetizer things are concerned:

Nice bread and gourmet cheese platter! Some kick ass blue, gorgonzola, and other cheese to blow us away. Complete with killer baguettes or something.

Sweet potato fries with some kind of cool dipping sauce

    bruschetta

    mini spring rolls

others i can't think of at the moment

I remember around the memorial day party planning thread, mauro mentioning a possible Charm City (ace of cakes people) cake for a holiday party. Would be cool to get featured on the show for something. Too late now obviously, but don't think i forgot.

What about something a bit more exotic like say iguana steaks, bald eagle eggs, or whale sushi?

We should have the beer pong tournament on Sunday afternoon before flying back...that would make the flight much more interesting.

No, sadly it wasn't. I've never played it, have never seen anyone play it. I don't drink beer, and I don't play ping pong.

Thanks Alexis, for the wiki entry.

I fly out Sun morning at some ungodly hour. We'll have to do our drinking contest earlier.

You're a disgrace. Let me give you some advice my 400-level Psych professor gave me about studying. He told me about some research done on "state-dependent memory" which was the theory that a person was more apt to remember something if he was under similar circumstances as during the time he learned it. For example, a drunk person was more likely to remember events that happened while they were drunk WHEN they were drunk again than when they were sober.

All you need to do is drink while you study and then Monday will be nothing more than a six-pack review session.

    Fuck, I'm thirsty.
