Dang it. News just came down that Wilshire will be out until at least november. Guess its time to get him off my bench and get someone that'll actually immediately contribute points.

I had Wilshere on my bench for a while, because he's pretty cheap and when healthy he'll be getting a good amount of points. But there was too much uncertainty surrounding his injury, too much mystery on his return date, so I transferred him out last week.

I'm not sure who is the best arsenal cover. Arteta looks promising but injury prone and not been a great scorer for about 18 months. Walcott can score in batches, but has a tendancy to go cold and miss sitters. RvP is good but pricey. benayoun's role might be just a sub...

I got Ruiz and Drenthe this week. Let's see if I can make fifth from bottom in the table.

Ballsy. What was the price of each? I'm not expecting anything special from Drenthe, but Ruiz is a good player. However, I don't see him scoring a ton of goals.

Drenthe 6.0, Ruiz 7.0. I'm counting on assists from Ruiz as well. He is a special player; I hope he has the quality to show that in the PL as well.

if Ruiz had been classed as a mid-fielder rather than a forward I'd have been very tempted but as a Forward there are already too many players I want in those three slots. It seems pot luck as to whether FPL decides wingers are forwards or mids.

I've got my eye on Ruiz. He is a very good player, scores the kind of classic Dutch goals that Cruyff or Van Basten would be proud of. If he starts doing well I'll pick him up for my third slot (have Long there now)

Embarrassing showing from Nori Tsukudani. Think I'm going to need to play my wild card...

Friend of mine said Aguero would be benched for Tevez so I traded Aguero (my captain) for Dzeko.

The result? Aguero hat trick while Dzeko watches.

Did the same, I didn't think Kun would get the start...

Fortunately played Aguero albeit not as captain. Nevertheless a mediocre week for me, well below average. :embar:

I guess some of us will have had Rooney as captain and advanced like silly... Sigh.

Still have three players to go in this round - Schwarzer (GK; Fulham), Dempsey (MF; Fulham) and Holt (F; Norwich). I demand a miracle. :D
