My league drafts on the 4th of September. Your draft looked solid, but trading for Brooks as a viable option at QB is akin to hoping Clay Aikens will become the George Michael of his generation, even though he has Rick Astley written all over him.

Yeah, I agree that straight up Bledsoe for Brooks is a shitty deal, but since I felt like I upgraded two big question marks with the trade, it wasn't such a huge deal to me that my backup QB went from old, to inconsistant.

What REALLY sucks is that Jerramy Stevens injured his friggin knee today, so I had to go pick up Itula Mili anyways.

my league doesn't draft until after the preseason games have ended.

Same, I actually set it up so in my league. I hate it when one of your starters goes down in preaseason.

Its all part of the fun... [IMG] I am somewhat of a masochist though, I enjoy tearing my hair out when the Starting TE I just traded for collapses his freshly repaired left knee. Its ok though; Mili, while not as large a target as Stevens, is a better reciever and makes some clutch catches.

Its a little tricky drafting before pre-season ends.

I don't care who wins, as long as it isn't Steve B.

Aww Steve, if you are so sensitive... maybe you don't want to play fantasy football with me. It might permanently damage your ego.

Oh, I knew you would Steve, but both cups contained the iocane powder. I've just spent the last seven years building up a tolerance to it. Steve B's famous last words :

Oh, yes. Jeff George is back in the league for Oakland. You all better pray that I don't get the #1 pick!
