I got the 'trust Charly' size
I approve of this fit (except epaulets).
Calf? Who's jacket is it?
Looks great, can't wait for my dark wine one, which is kind of a experiment...
Nice looking jackets.
I would also like to respectfully add my vote for rear-facing zippers.
Can't see myself ordering these new ones, looks too new-age for me.
Are those veins on the right side of the body that visible? How does the back look?
Hey guys - Dan here. We want to assure all potential customers that the leather consistency will have the same thickness and meet all Falcon standards prior to production and shipping. I personally choose and hand pick all the hides before purchasing and then our tailors, who have over 20 plus years working with just leather, have also been instructed to evaluate leather quality before any patterns are cut and will return any hides should they not meet our standards.
As I stated before, I limited the amount of leather vendors we work with to ensure quality control and consistency. Thickness, coloring process (dye vs paint), sheen (matte vs gloss), and overall draping and wearability are the basic standards when selecting our hides.
Hope this helps and clarifies our leather selection process.
Please do suede t1 soon, I'll instaorder!
A bunch of you should've gotten tracking numbers. If you ordered a few weeks ago and haven't, you will receive a tracking number on Wednesday when the rest of the jackets ship.
Btw, we have about 5 spots or so open for A1/A2/CWU45/MA1/Varsity, if anyone wants to jump in the line and have their jackets in 2-4 weeks time.
I received shipping for a CWU this morning.
I honestly didn't expect to win and I don't have anything prepared, but here goes.... There are so many people I would like to thank for making this possible: my friends, family, Drew, Charly, Dan, Sally (Welcome back girl!), the leather workers, and, above all else, god. This couldn't have happened without you upstairs big man...
You have to really look closely to see them in real life. Back is completely clean.
This thread isn't getting enough love. Got my varsity a while ago but haven't had much opportunity to wear it. Now that it's getting cooler, I can't stop wearing it!
Great job, guys. I'll be on the lookout for whatever other styles you have coming out in the future.
That's a mighty manly stache you got there
Or, you know...
I think the new ones look good on certain jackets but rear-facing should still be an option IMO. (Like MDR)
I also miss the gunmetal configurations with 2-way main zips.
The DR 2010 just makes sense this way:
Separate names with a comma.
