Hey,

It's been a while, so I wanted to pop in with an update.

We're still a bit backed up from the holidays and COVID-related delays.

Certain jackets have a longer leadtime.

However, A2s, MA1s, Varsity jackets, and the Harrington have a shorter list and those lead times are currently only 1-3 weeks.

We're going to open up the sale to you guys on SF early, so you can start to order now. The public will know come Monday morning, so if you want a really short lead time with those jackets, I suggest ordering before then.

Any way we can get an SF special and have this apply to shearling DRs? 😉

I purchased a lamb suede T1 and black lamb CWU-45 from the TOJ days. Was curious if you recommend cleaning or conditioning specifically the black lamb leather?

Dave Himel recommends for those who want the worn-in look to just wear leather jackets for decades and only apply beef fat and wax when it gets dry, which takes a long time (60-70yrs).

He didn't make specific suggestions based on the hide of the animal, only making suggestions for "vintage jackets" he's come across. My guess is he'd say the same for calf and lamb leather. I have yet to do anything with my black lamb CWU-45.

We don't have any specific suggestions on ways to clean and condition leather. We usually recommend doing a Google search and finding any highly rated instructional videos/articles like the one you linked.

I do suggest that whatever method you choose, always test it on an inconspicuous part of the jacket in case you don't like the desired effect the substance and/or method you use has on the look of the leather.

Purchased a stock size Tobacco lamb suede T1 and asked Charly to change the size twice a few days after I paid... I'm what I imagine to be the worst type of customer 😅.

I really hope this T1 doesn't surpass expectations because I'm lusting over the dark gray already as well.

Any chance y'all could find different colours of shearling for your shearling double rider?
Yep, see below:

Updates on Shearling Colors/Types

We now have some more variety on shearlings.

Our standard shearling is the black w/ curly black fur.

Now we also have access to the following:
  1. Brown w/ straight off-white fur
  2. Dark brown w/ curly beige fur
  3. Black w/ straight black fur
  4. Black w/ curly light gray fur
  5. Black w/ straight light gray fur

Curly fur is a bit more robust and the straight fur is a bit softer.

The new varieties will come at a slight upcharge. Contact us at [email protected] if you're interested.

We can make almost any jacket in the shearlings.

Cool, thanks. I was looking for something a little lighter, like a tan. Just in case you come across anything that's up to snuff and fits the bill.

With making other shapes in shearling, is the ribbing removed from bomber-type jackets?
Ribbing is kept unless otherwise requested

Hey guys, I usually don't do this, but this jacket needs a good home to go to.

A customer ordered a jacket, but they got their front length mixed up, so it's a touch too long for him. (Don't worry, he reordered!)

It's a custom DR made with Havana Brown CXL. Not sure if you can see it through the photos, but it's gorgeous in person. The handful is waxy and I can already tell it's going to wear and age beautifully.

$1,050 shipped in the US.

shoulders 18.75"
chest (pit-to-pit) 22"
waist 21"
body length, front 26"
sleeve length, from shoulder 24.0"
sleeve width @ pit 9"
sleeve width @ elbow 6.8"
sleeve width @ cuff 5"
