Hello!
New here, I found a Kenzo top at a local op shop, with tags, and was wondering if it is authentic or not? I only paid $10! It looks legit from what I’ve found from researching the internet but was hoping someone else could help. I’ve searched the collection and it’s from SS14 Mens. Thanks in advance!!

Hey all!! I’ve been lurking these forums for awhile now, and was hoping to get some advice on some recent pickups. I know it’s a mixed bag of designers so not expecting knowledge on everything, but any info regarding era/authenticity would be super helpful!!!
Additional Info: I live on Vancouver Island and picked up all of these for $25 CDN at my local hospital auxiliary. All the Pictures include any tags that are on the garments. It’s kinda strange for my town to have designers like these in our thrifts, but they were all piled together, so maybe someone around here has good taste.

Polo bear and Margiela are your winners there, the rest are licensed and probably no value unless youre using for personal. Margiela is recent, within the last 5-8 years. the rest you dont need to worry about.

Im not an expert but if you look at the close ups of the guy on the horse, it looks pretty detailed so if fake (and I dont know if it is or isn't) someone has gone to alot of effort with the detail

Hello all,

I want to preface the post by saying that I bought this sweater from a reputable multi-brand boutique in Europe:

Being pedantic, I noticed that the label on the inside says FABRIQUE EN FRANCE, and as far as I know, it should be FABRIQUÉ EN FRANCE, with an É, instead of an E. The same goes for LAINE MERINOS / LAINE MÉRINOS (E / É) (for example).

So I searched and found a lot of labels online that have the É, unlike mine (attachment 1), but I also found lots of labels that don't include the É (attachment 2).

Basically, has anyone seen alternate spellings of said words on BALMAIN items? I'd be thankful for an opinion on this. Apologies if this is something normal and I'm freaking out for no reason.

Hello, do you guys think this is authentic Burberry's duffle? Labels look fine, but I'm worried about the misaligned lining between the body and hoody and the label which is not centered. It also have poliester lining in the sleeves only, yet label say "100% wool"

Hard to be confident based on just those photos. Photos of interior tags and more shots of lining and hardware would be helpful.

I purchased this coat with a removable liner from ebay. The quality of the fabric feels great and it looks legit. But I also noticed a few things that may be off...
1) The coat doesn't have an order number. It has a size label in the pocket.
2) The buttons do not have the Burberry logo or name on them as all new coats do
3) The plaid does not match up perfectly at the seams
4) The stitches on the label are not super straight
Could anyone please help me figure out if this real based on these details. It seems to be a very nice nice coat. I would love to know if it is also genuine Burberry.Would appreciate any help. Thanks!

Looks correct to my eye. It’s just an older Burberry piece (likely from late 80s or early 90s). I have a similar trench from that era and the buttons are exactly the same as what you’re seeing on you coat (light horn). The brand name wasn’t quite the same high fashion name it is today and they didn’t plaster it on every piece of the coats back then. Wear it and enjoy it.

How about the plaids not matching up along the seams? Is that a red flag?
Also do all the vintage Burberry coats have order numbers or only some do?
