Interesting, seems like they are taking the budget aspect of their Brit brand more serious than in the past at least when it comes to saving on thread for the tag :-D. Still, the pattern mismatch is something I’ve yet to see on a legit item

As Burberry Brit is their entry line and targeted at a younger audience, the garments will typically be a tad simpler in make and material, although I have perceived Burberry’s overall quality standards across ranges to be quite good. I’ve just not seen tags only attached on two sides before in any of their trenchcoats.

Yes, I bought it straight out of college - has held up decently well. I should mention its a peacoat not a trench, shouldn't make much difference to how they attach their tags though I imagine.

Is this a fake E. Marinella tie? Bought this recently from eBay where the seller claimed it was from a sale stock, hence the red dot on the label. It didn't cost that much, and it wouldn't break my bank. But the seller is still selling E. Marinella ties and ties from other "niche" brands.

The silk feels a lot coarser and less smoother than my other E. Marinella ties. The print looks nice though.

This tie says "HANDMADE IN ENGLAND".

The font of E. Marinella label is a lot bolder. The back of the label doesn't have this black shadow below the letters like my other E. Marinella ties.

The stitching of the bar tack is uneven and not heavy, and the position of the bar tack for the tail is way lower than I am used too. Almost near the tip.

And the keeper loop has poor stitching, and wider than I am used to.

I feel like this tie is made by another brand, and the seller just replaced the older label with a fake E. Marinella label.

The three to the right are my other ties from E. Marinella.
Notice the difference of the thickness of the letters, especially "NAPOLI":

Compared to my other ties with the black shadow underneath:

Beige Ralph Lauren jacket definitely real, and black Gucci shoes fake (however please try to take a picture of the actual full product and not just a serial).

Looks like a few pairs of fake Zegna XXX Tizianos have been listed on eBay. Can anyone spot the glaring imperfections? There’s 4 other pairs from the same seller listed as well.

Another Armani shirt here. They spelled Romania with "Rumania" is this normal?

I recently bought a Brioni jacket from eBay
However, it is nothing that I would expect from Brioni would make.

1. The Brioni label does not have "X" stitching
2. No fabric details of what this jacket is made out of
3. The buttons on the jacket do not have Brioni on it, and it is written by something else.
4. The thing that tight the jacket on the button can see the soldering line, which I don't think there is any high-end jacket will have.
5. The inside fabric does not feel like silk. It does have "Brioni" on it, but it does not have the horse on it.

Do you guys think this is authentic or not?
Please help me, thank you.

Why the jacket does not have a tag of what fabric it is using?

Thank you for answering.

Can’t answer that but it looks like it’s from the old Brioni Sport line. All the zips, hanger and inside pocket detail look fine.

Found an Armani tie and ferragamo tie when thrifting today. The black ink or smudge on the ferragamo tie makes me skeptical. Are these ties legit?
