Fake or Real (Authentic, Genuine, etc.) -- Official Authentication Thread

Hi I'm looking to buy a leather jacket from ebay. I was wondering whether anyone had any indication whether these items are real.

1) Brioni: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/294463112311 looks authentic to me and the seller has some other items and history.
2) Kiton: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/224656251300 the seller also has a history however the jacket the seller has 2 sizes which isn't an outright red flag but does raise a question.

what could be so off? I mean, one item is shipping from Ukraine and the other from Turkey.

Plan to buy this Zilli suit. Claimed to be unworn. Not sure about authenticity. Can some expert help take a look? Many thanks. The quality look nice. But the detailed tag (2nd photo) looks different from other online photos though.

And if it is indeed authentic, would $600 be a reasonable price to purchase? Thanks.

It's hard to confirm for sure whether this is real or not over the internet, however everything looks correct

If it's an older model (I'd guess it's at least 5 years old) then it's probably real - if it's supposedly a more recent model, the label is completely different to the 21/22 stock that we just received (I just checked it)

I would say, without being able to confirm, that it's real - and is at least 5 years old

$600 is a good price for a full Zilli suit, but it's an older model... so only get it if you really like it

In my personal opinion, there's no difference - it's not like buying a classic car for example, which may have problems with the engine...

The only foreseeable problem is that it won't look as modern - and some people want the latest thing - however a good suit is a good suit, and if you like it you should go for it.

Some people may disagree with my opinion on this, I'm not a big suit guy, I just work in the industry

Before you buy it take a real close look at the fabric. If it looks like it's made by a machine, it may not be real. Handmade suits have a certain quality that is obvious just by looking at it, and if it's a real Zilli suit it should be handmade.

I just bought this 41 Sac a Depeches from TRR and it seems like a dud, or worse, a fake.

The hardware feels substantial and heavy, and engravings seem generally well done, particularly the "hallmark" next to PARIS, which apparently is used in gold plated pieces.

Stitching seems generally well done, with the proper angles, and appear neat, perhaps better than the vintage example below from 1998.

But the hermes logo stamp inside the briefcase is extremely poorly done, and the paint seems to have been done by a someone suffering from carpal tunnel.
I bought it at a pretty cheap price, so I'm inclined to investigate whether it's legit or not, but PURSEFORUM/BLOG website no longer has community authentication for Hermes bags. I guess things are getting more complicated on the replicas land.
