New to the area of high-end classic menswear. I bought a Brioni Shearling. Would like to seek an opinion about its authenticity.

Why does it matter? If you like the coat, does it really matter if it's "authentic" Brioni? And why do people keep posting these "I bought something on eBay, is it authentic" threads? If you don't know, don't buy.

I think I will try return it.
and now you gave him a neg. feedback without having the item. ...
Very strong on your side

And, yes it looks a bit off, but with the limited picutres hard or impossible to tell, same as his other items. It is also reflected in the price. You get what you paid for...

I recently acquired this Jil sander jacket and I’m just wondering if anyone would be able to confirm if it’s authentic or not? 2D9A0BED-501C-4C8D-A15C-A0B9027BC315.png C6717864-740C-4051-9D09-8C6CB2B18764.png 7F64726D-7182-44AE-A4F2-51C51D4B6106.png 4D3A0480-FAFD-446D-9DE6-3909DAA850E4.png 4F4BA90C-58A5-4403-96BC-E3B12E7748AA.png

Hi,
I bought a pair of Evisu jeans from Selfridges in the Trafford Centre, I’d say around 20 years ago now, give or take. I remember it cos it was my only trip there & the only time I splashed out on a trip ever lol. But there’s someone on a selling site that's telling me they’re fake & asking to see this & that. Now I’m pretty positive Selfridges aren’t selling fakes even back then but this guy has me slightly worried. What do you guys think?

Yeah, there was a big scandal about 15 years ago where Selfridges were found to be selling fake goods. They had a factory in the third world using child labour and the CEO was pocketing all the profits. Hermes, Prada, Gucci - all just knock-offs. If you look closely at the label, you'll see...

No, man. Selfridges isn't going to sell you a fake pair of jeans.

Hello! I have this very special Burberry piece hanging at home. I got it from a friend of my fathers since she didn’t really find value in it or appreciated it enough (his words). I’m however completely unable to find any info or any pictures of anything like it, but to my eyes it seems very legit. Could anyone enlighten me if you recognise it or know anything at all about it?
I’m aware that it is quite old since the logos and brand name ”Burberrys” is used instead of ”Burberry”, but that is pretty much it. I would also be pleased if I got told that it was a fake, because then at least I’d know. Thank you in beforehand! 56FEAF53-41DA-4C95-B7FB-6C44F4FE594D.jpeg

You might wish to have the water repellant upgraded.
Some dry cleaners do this but unless one finds the right
one, they can do a terrible job. I have found ScotchGuard
effective for cotton raincoats.
