Hi may I please ask you if this may be real or fake versace jeans?Awful fake sorry
What do you guys think of this one? Never seen cucinelli tags in black/red and definitely never seen a name seen into the back collar. Fake buttonhole on the lapel?! The sizing/material tags are missing the company as well. May be a cheap Italian model with imitation Cucinelli tags on it? Idk. Was this blazer from someone by the name of v-syn****** or leg******-stu** ? They seem to be one very large high-end counterfeiting store with a lot of stock. They use multiple accounts but the pictures show the same location. I've done some digging because I was a victim too.
Usually you see fakes. When he post sellers names seller changes name or account.Raceguy3820 - please post the seller so the rest of us don't get scammed.
If there is a barcode on it. Enter it into the Gs1 search by GTIN site. That'll show you where when and by whom it is made.been a lurker here for a while recently purchased a kiton branded suit from ebay wondered if anyone could confirm if its genuine or fake,im obviously hoping it to be genuine but only paid £26 so its no real biggie either way.
im hoping that ive learned some things from you guys so far my instincts are that it is genuine as the stitching under the collar looks to be done by hand stitching on pants pockets seem by hand too and the labels all seem correct as far as i am aware there was also some spare buttons in a kiton labelled bag in the pocket.
Thank you
Definately not uncommon to see Burberry's on the label. They even dropped a few pieces in previous seasons the last few years paying homage with the name being "burberrys" on it. I'm not a counterfeiting historian, but I feel like if they were counterfeiting that jacket at the time it was made, which is unlikely, it would not be that well put together at all. The design, from the wooden closures and everything is burberry. I highly doubt this is an old counterfeit. If anything you have one made in england, now, they're made in everywhere from Vietnam to italy. I have a 1000 dollar trenchcoat made in Vietnam, its unfortunate, but it really depends on the article of clothing or quality of good....i.e. leather, if I'm going to discriminate the origin of production. And it was a steal.Hello, I wanted to ask for opinions on whether you thought this coat I bought was authentic or a knock off? The tag seems to be authentic from the research I've done but it's placement seems off. I'm wondering if somehow the seller had a real Burberrys tag and put it on a knock off coat? Two other aspects that I'm not sure about is the lack of shoulder "pads" detail and that the tag is on the black fabric in the neck area and not directly on the nova check pattern. Also the metal chain loop hanger is closer to the tag than I've see on other coats.
Thanks for any input.
*I did write Burberrys because, for those that don't know, Burberry changed their name to Burberrys at some point and then in the 90's changed the name back to Burberry. So any tags that say Burberrys is a vintage garment from the 80's or older.
No, it's not...If there is a barcode on it. Enter it into the Gs1 search by GTIN site. That'll show you where when and by whom it is made.
If no search results yield either it is a fake or you should calculate control digit and enter it again. Search for calculating control digit.
This method is foolproof.
You also can email the code to the company. No, it's not...
Good fakers will go the extra route and copy the codes.
It looks like an older Kiton to me, I see no red flags.
You can and they ask the source of purchase. You also can email the code to the company.
