Can you tell me this margiela sneakers is original or fake?
No sneaker expert here, but based on this youtube video, your pair is fake.

Few tells :
- on the outsole, 22 and numbers are off. Too big and too deep & clean
- on the inside, size is supposed to be on top of "made in Italy"
- on the insole, the "70's" is over the line
- on the inside, should be "42 168" without the "replica". Also font, size and no bold on the real one.

I highly suggest you not to buy them.

Yeah, I think that you are correct. Also the bottom of the sole should be smooth (i.e., without any design).

I am interested in buying this vintage burberry trenchcoat.
Can anyone tell whether it is a real piece or a fake?
Also around which time was this trenchcoat approximately produced?

It looks legit from a distance. But then so too does a cross dresser.

close up pics of the tags and the details of the jacket (seams, flaps, buttons, etc) would be helpful.

Same initial reactions as PF. The lining looks contiguous at the seams from a distance, which is a good sign.

Detail shots might help but older stuff is often harder to authenticate. Brands have gone though so many labels and trim over time.

Here are some more detailed pictures, not too sure that helps:

The details of the jacket look correct. I’d say it’s authentic.
I can’t really date it. Based on the label, I’d say it’s within the past 20 years but I’m not 100% sure of that.

Thank you very much for the reply and your judgement.
I also think the timing aspect is a bit difficult to assess, but as they changed the label name from Burberrys to only Burberry in 1999, i think it should be from the 90s then, shouldn’t it?

So only thing that gives me pause is polyester content.

In the 80s these were 51%+ cotton.

Either its a very good knockoff, or 90s Burberry jacked up the poly (very possible).

I saw this Brioni tie at a thrift and was wondering if it was real? It does have the numbers on the inside of the tie, although it seems like the threads are somewhat loose instead of being tightly sewn. Not sure I really like the color/pattern anyways.
