I once purchased an Hermès scarf for my wife online. This, unwittingly, began a near decade long obsession on her part for their scarves.

That first one, though, came and I opened it, took it out to inspect and took the tag off of it. I kept the tag in the box though. My wife wasn’t crazy about the color so we went to our Hermès boutique here in Chicago to trade it out. What ensued was a near 30 attempt in their part to authenticate it even though the tag accompanied the scarf, albeit detached from it.

They apologized for the inconvenience and that’s when I learned of their incredibly strict return policy.

Hermès is probably in the top 5 most knocked off luxury brands out there and you constantly see this stuff pop on eBay.

I found a few other pictures of a Trenchcoat with the same labels on the internet (the red one for example).
Does someone know better and maybe help me?

Hello there, I'm wondering if anyone has seen authentic Vilebrequin linen shirts that have no turtle on the side and also do not have VILEBREQUIN along the edge of the buttons? I have just bought two but they are not like my others.

Other concerns are:
-size seems too big
-brand label sewn all the way round, not just on left and right side
-the two shirts have different size text on the "Vilebrequin" labels
-missing labels with spare buttons and "the turtle hologram shows this is real" text
-no country of origin label
-My previous Vilbr. shirts have a special V-shaped stitch on the breast pocket edge; one of these does have that actually but the other does not.

They are not badly made shirts though. It's all a bit weird to me.
