No, it is a females twill /cotton. The apostrophe I wondered about also. Do you think this is not genuine. I know earlier 2000s Burberry London = 'Burberrys' with apostrophe at either end of the noun.

Yes, that's an older branding. But, the inside Burberrys' label doesn't seem authentic to me, at least to my naked eye. Do you have other inside tags? If not, it's likely one of the fakes from Thailand back in the late 90s

If they want to fake it no one would use "Royal Crown Colony of Hong Kong". All the fakes would say Italy, UK, France, or the USA (older Polo Ralph Lauren fakes)

It looks like an early to mid 90s piece. Handover back to China for Hong Kong took place in 1997.

It’s got the small e label so it’s 1971 or later for sure.

I think so too, but it has that "type 2" style, which is older. So I thought it might either be a re-issue post 1971 or literally just a fake. Could become my first ever denim jacket, so I am trying to gather as much info about it as possible

they look legit to me. What’s your objection/concern?

By the way, perhaps something is lost in translation but it makes no sense to say you just bought something on eBay and suspect it’s a fake.
