Hello, could you verify the authenticity of this Loro Piana suede jacket?

I've just purchased a new Isaia suit off ebay and was wondering about its authenticity. The label isn't like anything I'd seen recently from Isaia and I'm concerned it may be a knock-off (alternatively a very old suit?)

It definitely has a Canali label sewn on the right side, but the buttons are not engraved with any logo as far as I can tell. I don't have the knowledge to evaluate the authenticity of the label, or the quality of stitching.
Firstly, check the quality of the material; Canali suits are typically made with high-quality fabrics like fine wool or blends. Next, examine the stitching for precision and uniformity, ensuring there are no loose threads. Look for the Canali label stitched inside the jacket and trousers, paying attention to the neatness of the stitching and the presence of the Canali logo. Authentic Canali suits often feature buttons engraved with the brand's name or logo, so inspect these as well. Additionally, examine the lining of the jacket for quality and consistency, and consider the overall fit and construction of the suit, as Canali is known for its tailored fit and attention to detail.
I asked about this on another thread so forgive me for being repetitive. It's just that you mention "loose threads". In that regard, I bought a "Canali" suit on ebay and it does have, in fact, one loose thread about 4" long extending from a pants pocket. I've posted photos of the labels here. What is your opinion? Is this loose thread a problem indicating poor workmanship and thus the suit a fake?

Not fake. Just an old suit.

Well, the loose thread doesn't look like it's there due to age. It looks like it was missed during any sort of quality control at the time of manufacture. Is that typical of a Canali suit which was not hand-made?

I meant that it could have come loose from wear and tear. Also, Canali suits are mostly machine made (nothing wrong with that), but do have some handwork. If it wasn't wear and tear, then maybe it was missed. But it doesn't look like a fake suit. Just an older model.

OK that's reassuring. Thank you! So about 20 years old?
