Any help with this one please?Hi there,
Recently picked up this pair of suede, possibly alligator, Gianni Versaces. Look to be about an 80s label. Never seen one with a rubber sole in this great condition. Any help is appreciated!
Edit: There are additional photos of the sizing imprint and the full sole if you click into the images.
looks like a sample piece to me which would mean authentic but I’m no Bottega Veneta expert.
BV is primarily known for their leather goods. Almost any piece I’ve seen from them has some leather on it. This looks like a cheap windbreaker from Target. I’m no expert either, but it just doesn’t look authentic.
I tried to lookup for RTW Spring Summer 2017 as mentionned on the tags (PE 2017 would stands for Primavera Estate in italian or Printemps Eté in french) but couldn't find anything.
I did a search as well but didn't find anything similar looking either, I just asked the person I bought it from (40€) if she had more information about it, and she told me she got it at a braderie (clearance sale?), and she was told it was a BV prototype and shown the zippers and tag as proof, I got it sent from france. It does have a nice construction and shape. The materials seem nothing crazy, just enough to hold its shape I suppose, it's well stitched and the pockets have a lot of details like sideways openings still with zippers and stuff, the zippers look nice and sturdy, they have the text "Feder y CA - Made in Italy" engraved, not sure if that's good.I tried to lookup for RTW Spring Summer 2017 as mentionned on the tags (PE 2017 would stands for Primavera Estate in italian or Printemps Eté in french) but couldn't find anything.
I'd say if it's cheap and for personnal, why not, but hard to sell otherwise without official tags? Unless there is BV afficionados dying for this piece. Who knows?
