Hi guys

I am new to the site so I'm not sure where to post this.

I was wondering if you could help me please. I have purchased this vintage dsquared jacket from a charity shop but I am struggling to find anything similar online to verify which year it is or if it is real. Everything indicates to me that it is authentic but before I restore it to its former glory and was wondering if anybody could help me identify it and possibly tell me how much it was originally worth. The jacket itself structurally is in very good condition so apart from being really faded it's great. Any help with this query would be much appreciated

Got offered this Versace leather jacket for 250 euro. Been trying to verify it for days and am officially stumped. Can anyone tell if it is real? And if so, how is versace and versace jeans couture when it comes to quality leather goods?

This feels like 100% cashmere but there is no fabrics tags. I’m also wondering about the other tags. What do you think?

Some is made in Italy.
No saying this particular jacket is legit.
Would love to see a tag then to see who they use because I’ve never seen one. BBBF used Caruso

Well, BBBF as you mentioned and I have a made in Italy suit from that line.

I’ve seen made in Italy on some Thom Browne tailored clothing. The shirts seem to be mostly made in the USA.

I think most items are US, Japanese and Italian made though I’m not sure in what proportion.

here are a few examples:

Hello

Can anyone tell me if these Ferragamo Venetian loafers are real or fake? I have seen similar loafers by Jimmy Choo but have never really known Ferragamo to make glittered men's bit loafers, any thoughts? I would love to hear your opinions.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to view my post.

Hello

After looking at the jigsaw stitching, dull, almost faded color, oxidized buttons, GG button engraving that appears to have been done by Helen Keller using a dull Exacto, and the lack of depth in the GG engraving, there is absolutely no doubt that your shirt is a fake.

Real Gucci shirts have precise stitching, vibrant colors, and machine milled buttons, leaving no doubt in the mind of the buyer that spending 4K on a Gucci shirt was the right thing to do.

Unfortunately, it has become rather difficult to identify whether an item is fake or authentic by simply looking for tells on the store and shirt tags because they know that is what authenticators look at first. They now copy the store tags from an authentic item so the numbers match. They are also very careful to center the font and to use the same format so as not to leave the tells authenticators have become accustomed to looking for. You almost have to have an authentic and fake shirt side by side to compare the two unless the craftsmanship is as poor as this one is.

I hope this helps, all the best to you.
