    Hey guys,

Picked up a Burberry trench with buttons and labels like the one below. I don't recignize the font used on the buttons. Anyone seen this before? Real or fake?

Thanks in advance for your help.

The Burberry trench coat is legit. It was made back when Burberry had three main lines: Prorsum, London and Brit. Now they have Runway, Heritage and seasonal variantions. The buttons have varied over the years. The engraving on the buttons is Thomas Burberry's signature, the founder of Burberry.

I see! Thanks so much for chiming in. Do you have any idea what the difference was between the lines? When did they stop using them?

At one point Burberry offered a wide selection of coats along three product lines: Prorsum (designer/runway), London (classic/traditional) and Brit (casual/youth). Some of the coats and colours from this period are pretty hard to get hold of. Unfortunately, Burberry has scaled down to fewer colours, heritage and a seasonal programme over the last couple of years. Burberry consolidated the three lines late 2015.
