    Hi,

I’m new here. I bought this belt for 2,50 in a Dutch thrift shop in a rich area, and was wondering if someone can confirm it’s indeed fake. I’m guessing it most definitely is, because I can’t find any Versace logo, label, serial number or engraving any where on the belt. However, I wanted to double check with someone who knows more about this, who knows it could be a very early design ?

    Thank you so much! 5E34953E-1209-4DA8-B850-884EDAE3CC3A.jpeg

    Hello

Can anyone tell me if this Versace tie is real or fake?

Its very thin and theres no lining much beyond the opening and no interlining at all. Also no materials composition label.

Any help will be very much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance for any replies.

Hello everybody, this is my first message in the forum even though I've been reading you for quite some time.

First of all, introduce myself. My name is Diego and I'm 34 years old, I'm from Spain and I'm a Psychologist.

The issue in question is that I decided to buy a Mac Burberrys, I do not usually buy vintage but I chose to do so because the seller had very good reviews.

However, now that I receive the garment, I have serious doubts about the authenticity of the garment due to the following reasons:

    1. The appearance of the garment (it looks almost new)
    2. The Burberrys' neck label is slightly off-center, and sewn with yellow thread (although I have seen this type of seam in other vintage Made in Spain articles of the same brand listed on other websites).
    3. The absence of interior pockets and the strip used to hang the garment on the hanger.
    4. The absence of the blue label detailing the material composition of the garment, or failing that, the white embroidered patch on which should appear something like 100% cotton.
    5. The lining seems to me too clear in terms of color to be the nova chek (although I have seen multiple variations of the same looking in the web)

As I am not an expert in the matter (it is my first garment of this mark) and as all the information that I have about the requirements to recognize the authenticity of the same one comes from videos and articles of Internet, I come to you for if you could help me to leave of doubts.

I enclose the photos below, and thank you in advance for any comments or help.

The horn buttons are a good sign, the tags appear quite professional with plenty of detail, the boutonniere isnt sloppy looking with any fraying in the hole. My guess would be legit.

    Hey all,
Just really need a legit check on this piece. I took as many telling photos as I could. I know there are some experts out there. Can anyone definitively say whether or not this is authentic?
    Thank you in advance!

Hello guys, I'm concidering a purchase of a burberrys coat from the internet vintage store, though the photos on the website do not show much - I allready asked them for photo of a label and got this:

I know the photo is too blurry to see if stitching is proper and it's the lining label, not the coat's - so I'll have to write to them for more photos - and here comes the purpose of writing this post: what should I ask them about? I'm allready confused about this label, which is also stitched only at 3 sides and seems a little sloppy...

I'd be very greatfull for an advice of any sort.

    Thanks

Damn. What makes you think so? I couldn't find whether or not vintage YSL was actually made in china.
I looked up Robinsons and it's an old department store so that somewhat adds to my belief that it could be real BUT the price looks really low (converts to $50 USD... then factor in inflation from 1980 ends up being about less than $100 still).

Having a difficult time judging this piece!

Hello! I'm wondering if this Burberry tie is a legitimate piece. I found it odd that I found other exact piece is sold on poshmark for $50 more and they're both stated to be New Without Tags. The seller did send me extra pic of the label when I requested it so I posted them all. Thank you.
