Fake JM Weston monkstraps in size 12.5?

    I agree that they're hideous and that the sole and last of the shoes look nothing like I've ever seen from JM Weston, but why would you conterfeit JM Weston?

    Looks nothing like Westons. The weston monkstrap is pointed at the end of the strap and in the other place that I have circled. And it does not have a square toe. [​IMG]

    'Course, there's also a pair of "J.M. Weston" motorcycle-style boots being sold on Ebay -- and that auction includes a photo of the insole, with the J.M. Weston name/logo. I suppose all one needs to do is fake the insole. I agree though -- why fake Westons, given how they are not a terribly widely known name in the US.
