I've never seen a tag like that, but "Belvest Tailoring Style" is a genuine enough tag line, and the interior pocket-label looks legit.

Why would anyone fake belvest? Great quality, yes but much more obscure than many of the names they make for.

Can't say that I have tons of experience but Belvest and previously, Paul Stuart, are hardly the brands that get counterfeited. Counterfeited suits are in general made to sell to those who seek the fashion/ designer brands rather than the 'quality' eg Armani, D&G, Prada etc and not Oxxford, Kiton etc etc

Check the thread on manufacturers' labels. There is a picture of a genuine Belvest interior label. I bought a suit at Davide Cenci that the salesman told me was made for them by Belvest and the interior pocket label is very similar to the one pictured on this ebay listing.

Actually, there was a thread a little while ago regarding fake Belvest on Ebay (primarily overcoats I believe). The consensus was that the coats were indeed fake. That suit looks ok to me though.

Can't say for sure for this one but there have been reports of other fake Belvest items including overcoats and suits (I think chorse123 had bought one on eBay and returned it). I too would never have imagined someone would fake Belvest.

The suit in question was real. The overcoats, on the other hand, were not Belvest. But they weren't really fakes either - it was just some unscrupulous hack pulling a fast one by tacking Belvest labels into generic overcoats. As I remember it anyway...

How about these?

Amazing feedback, perhaps they are real?
